Nirvana Swing Debuts Gliding Motion Recliner |

|
AT THE MARKET - Nirvana Swing Co. is swinging into its first market here with a new concept in motion furniture, a recliner that replicates the gentle back-and-forth gliding motion of a swing. The Nirvana Swing recliner’s patented mechanism was developed by Tom Garland, company founder and president. It is manufactured in China. Based in Bradenton, Fla., Nirvana initially distributed the product in Florida only. Now, boosted by sales representation from S.D.G. & Associates, the company is ready to expand beyond its home base. Taylor Garland, vice president of sales and marketing, and son of the company’s founder, said the novel recliner mechanism “is fully manual. The Nirvana Swing uses your natural motion to keep you going; it’s virtually frictionless motion.” Covered in top-grain leather, the swing chair is available in three models in contemporary and transitional styling. The chairs are offered in two colors per style. Nirvana Swing creator Tom Garland said the product is “a major step forward in the development of more comfortable seating.” Taylor Garland said the chairs also have therapeutic aspects, helping with relaxation and stress reduction. The company is showing at market in Showplace, space 2508. The company Web site is at www.nirvanaswing.com. Click on “Why Swing” to see the product in action. ____________________ |
