In 1998, I first developed the technology that allows an object to move in a smooth and silent fashion along the path of a natural arc, without being suspended from above. After building and testing multiple prototypes, I finally created a mechanism that would fit entirely inside a reclining chair and allow the occupant of the chair to experience this wonderful motion. I founded Nirvana Swing Company™ with the goal of sharing this unique relaxation experience with the rest of the world, using the patented Comfort Swing® mechanism inside.

As an engineer, my friends and family have been known to think of me as a "perfectionist." I have spent several years on the factory floor, working through every detail of the construction of the Comfort Swing® mechanism and the Nirvana Swing recliner. The Comfort Swing® mechanism is constructed of cold-rolled steel and utilizes precision ABEC bearings. The Nirvana Swing is upholstered in 100% leather of only the finest top grain hides from around the world.
